Classroom Rules

Follow all directions.  Listen Carefully!

Keep hands, feet, and all other objects to yourself

Treat everyone with respect

Raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking

 Come to class ready and willing to learn! 

Behavior Plan

I believe in positive reinforcement for behaving appropriately and completing assignments on time.  Positive behavior is rewarded with recognition notices, tickets (to purchase treats at the end of each week), class treats, and Fun Friday.  Fun Friday is a designated reward time for 4^th and 5^th graders and it is a privilege.  Inappropriate behavior and missing assignments will result in time taken away from Fun Friday or the inability to attend. 

Consequences 

Each student has an envelope that will contain 5 strips of paper.  Each week they will begin with 5; however, strips are lost for inappropriate behavior throughout the week.  Consequences are as follows:

Lose 1st Strip:    Warning

Lose 2nd Strip:  10 minutes of Fun Friday Lost

Lose 3rd Strip:   20 minutes of Fun Friday Lost and 1 day of

                        Silent Lunch

Lose 4th Strip:   No Fun Friday and Letter home

Lose Final Strip:  Go to the principal’s office
